Lead Times by Product Type

Pre-Order Process

For out-of-stock items: 1. Click "Pre-Order" instead of "Add to Cart" 2. View estimated availability date 3. Choose: Reserve with deposit OR notify when available 4. Receive WhatsApp notification when ready 5. Complete order within 7 days of notification

Stock Alerts

Set up alerts in your account:

  • Email when specific product back in stock
  • Daily digest of low-stock items in your usual orders
  • Weekly stock report for your top SKUs

Critical Item Planning

For items you can't be out of:

  • Maintain safety stock at your shop (2–4 weeks supply)
  • Subscribe to auto-reorder (when stock hits reorder point)
  • Communicate slow-moving items with Account Manager (might be replaced with faster alternative)

Stockout Communication

If a product becomes unexpectedly unavailable:

  • WhatsApp notification within 4 hours
  • Recommended alternative provided
  • Estimated restock date
  • Priority allocation when restocked (orders by date)

Seasonal Stock Considerations

  • Thingyan (April): High demand for cleaning supplies, batteries β€” order ahead
  • Rainy season (June–Oct): Wipers, electrical components, water-resistant items
  • Year-end (Dec): Promotional pricing β€” stock up if you have capacity
  • Festive promotions: Limited stock β€” first-come, first-served
